Your tasks – this is what awaits you in detail

  • As Data Scientist (f/m/d) at you will drive forward the further development of the marketplace on the basis of data: Working as part of a team you will develop complex data products which will be incorporated into business processes and generate added value for the business
  • Developing applications and models for analytical approaches and for data-driven algorithms, such as classifications or other data mining and machine learning applications
  • Improving product data through the use of text and image analysis
  • Recognising patterns, clusters and correlations, e.g. for our shopping personalisation or our recommendation system
  • Seeking out innovative methods and processes

Your profile – this is what we expect from you

  • You have a university degree in (business) computer science or a comparable course of study
  • You have very good abstraction capabilities, a sound understanding of algorithms, and an affinity for working with data
  • You have proven experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, predictive analytics, natural language processing, deep learning and/or statistical modelling
  • You have knowledge in the field of generating insights from different data sources through the use of data mining/machine learning libraries such as Scikit-learn, Tensorflow or Keras
  • You enjoy developing and implementing machine learning and AI services for practical tasks. You accordingly have software development experience in Python or similar programming languages
  • Knowledge both of Big Data technologies (e.g. Spark), and of Docker, Kubernetes and/or Kafka, are an advantage
  • You have an excellent command of English
